Chef Position Available

This role offers the ideal opportunity for an experienced chef to join our kitchen team. Our restaurant operates in a lively, supportive environment, where staff members are encouraged to work together and share ideas. With a diverse range of culinary experiences and styles to draw upon, we aim to deliver innovative dishes that exceed customer expectations.

We require an accomplished chef with extensive knowledge of commercial kitchen operations. Key responsibilities will involve working efficiently in a fast-paced environment, preparing high-quality food consistently and maintaining excellent standards throughout service. Essential qualities include:
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a professional kitchen environment
  • Flexibility to work 5 days across a 7-day operation
  • Qualifications or trade experience equivalent to Certificate IV level
  • Friendly, approachable demeanor and strong communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to personal presentation and pride in food presentation
  • Ability to effectively manage own sections and lead by example
  • Possess effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with and commitment to food hygiene practices
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
  • A minimum of 38 hours per week
  • Trade qualification to a minimum of Certificate IV level
