Job Title: Senior ICT Consultant
About this Role:This position is crucial to the growth and success of our Technology group, as a Senior ICT Engineer.
As part of a dynamic multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing advisory services and designing advanced technologies in modern projects across Australia.
Key responsibilities include ensuring coordination with other disciplines, meeting client needs, and delivering bespoke solutions.
- Design support for various offices and projects across Australia for active and passive systems, infrastructure, carrier connections, Audio-Visual services, etc.
- Prepare technical documents for planning, specifications, drawings, calling of tenders, and construction service support including testing and commissioning.
- Maintain strong customer relationships for project execution and participate in business development.
- Support Project Engineers in completing projects on time, profitability, technical risk management, and overall Client satisfaction.
- Provide support and mentoring to Junior staff members.
- Support clients and internal customers on technical queries.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent training in networking, computer science, cyber security, etc.
- Customer focus, providing bespoke solutions.
- Experience in designing and delivering structured cabling systems, backbone fibre & copper, MATV/IPTV systems, DAS, ICN-integrated communications network, IP telephony systems, active networks, wireless design, WiredScore assessor (beneficial), digital signage, large-scale AV systems (preferred), data centres (preferred), and Defence ICT design (preferred).
- Knowledge of security systems, both physical and cyber would be considered beneficial but not essential.
- RCDD, CCNA, or CISSP certifications are considered an asset.
- Strong knowledge of industry codes and standards (AS/NZ, IEC, ANSI/TIA, BICSI, IEEE, CSA, OBC, NBC).
- Current AGSVA Baseline clearance, or ability to obtain (must be an Australian Citizen).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to innovate based on customer and industry requirements.
- Positive, can-do attitude.
- Ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.
