Job Title: Leading Hand

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Leading Hand to join our team at Komatsu Australia Pty Ltd. As a Leading Hand, you will play a key role in overseeing the daily operations of our workshop, ensuring efficient workflow, high-quality work, and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of workshop staff, including assigning tasks and monitoring progress.
  • Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with company standards, safety regulations, and customer specifications.
  • Manage workshop resources, including tools, equipment, and materials, to optimise productivity and reduce downtime.
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure the highest standards of workmanship.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to team members, addressing any issues or concerns that arise.
Requirements:
  • A qualified Mobile Plant Technician or HV Electrician with previous leadership experience.
  • A strong technical background with hands-on experience in construction or mining industry.
  • An effective communicator with the ability to schedule and delegate.
  • A professional self-starter with excellent attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of Quality Assurance and active in promoting its principles.
  • Solid computer skills.
