Job Opportunity:We are seeking a Community Manager to lead the strategic, operational, and clinical delivery of in-home nursing services across Melbourne.
This role is ideal for a dynamic leader who thrives on driving clinical excellence, leading high-performing teams, and ensuring person-centred, safe, and effective care.
Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Governance: Provide strong leadership in clinical governance, ensuring services meet the highest quality and safety standards.
  • Compliance: Oversee compliance with the Aged Care Act and all relevant aged care standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Nursing Team Leadership: Lead and support Clinical Leads and nursing teams in the safe delivery of complex clinical interventions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement through data analysis, audits, and risk management processes.
  • Culture Development: Foster a culture of learning, development, and reflective practice across the nursing workforce.
  • Operational Strategy: Develop and implement operational and business strategies that support sustainable growth and high-quality service delivery.
  • Workforce Management: Lead workforce planning, recruitment, and performance management to ensure a skilled and motivated team.
Requirements
  • AHPRA Registration: Current registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Community Nursing Experience: Extensive experience in community nursing and aged care.
  • Business Development: Experience in business development & stakeholder engagement.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven leadership and management experience.
  • Aged Care Knowledge: Strong knowledge of aged care legislation, accreditation, and quality standards.
  • Risk Management: Demonstrated ability to manage clinical risk, governance, and compliance.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
