About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced technician to join our team at Cummins Brisbane. As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of industrial equipment, including engines, generators, and pumps.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, filter replacements, and belt replacements
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including time sheets and maintenance logs
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the power generation or industrial equipment sector
  • Mechanical trade qualification (e.g. Fitter and Turner, Machinist)
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers
