Role Overview

This position involves working collaboratively with the dental team to meet expected outputs. The role requires providing advice on laboratory procedures, equipment and materials used for removable prosthetic appliance therapy.

The Dental Technician may be required to support the Dental Prosthetist operating at various locations.

  • Manufacturing and modification of dental prosthetics using a variety of materials and techniques.
  • Deliver effective multi-disciplinary, evidence-based dental laboratory practice for routine technical tasks, problem solve and manage patient outcomes at the point of care.
  • Senior Dental Technicians will coach and mentor less experienced staff members.
Requirements

- A relevant qualification in dental technology
- A current Victorian Drivers Licence
- A current Working with Children Check (Employee)
