Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Multi Skilled Operations Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the setup and operation of various packaging machines, ensuring all jobs are run to specification to achieve world class operational performance, safety, quality and customer service objectives.

This is a key role within our production floor, where you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in operating heavy equipment to required speed and performance, as well as strong interest or good knowledge of mechanical devices.

You will work closely with the Shift Supervisor to achieve business objectives and targets, and will be responsible for identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes.

We are looking for a team player who can work unsupervised, has good communications skills and is passionate about delivering results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setup and operation of packaging machines
  • Maintenance of equipment and machinery
  • Quality control and assurance
  • Safety management and compliance
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need:

  • Prior experience in operating heavy equipment
  • Strong interest or good knowledge of mechanical devices
  • Basic computer skills
  • Current forklift licence (desirable)
  • Safety First mentality
