Mental Health Team Lead

Job Summary:
The Mental Health Team Leader is a key role within our organization, responsible for overseeing a multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing high-quality mental health services. This position involves leadership, supervision, and coordination of care, ensuring that all team members deliver effective, client-centered support.
Key Responsibilities:- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages professional development and effective communication.
- Program Coordination: Oversee the implementation of mental health programs and services, ensuring they are evidence-based, culturally sensitive, and aligned with organizational goals.
- Client Advocacy: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, advocating for their needs and ensuring they receive comprehensive, individualized care.
- Crisis Management: Provide leadership during crisis situations, ensuring timely and appropriate responses to clients in distress.
- Data Management and Reporting: Monitor and evaluate program outcomes, collect data on service delivery, and prepare reports for stakeholders to inform continuous improvement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external partners, including healthcare providers and community organizations, to enhance service delivery and resource availability.
- Education: Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated experience in Mental Health.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in mental health care, with prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and inspire a diverse team.
- Knowledge of mental health regulations and best practices.
