About the Role

GHS Solutions is seeking an experienced Workshop Machining Leading Hand to oversee a team of Fitters/Machinists at our Geraldton workshop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of a team of Fitters/Machinists to ensure efficient and effective production.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations, and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Coordinate and manage workflow, prioritizing tasks and allocating resources as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and achieve business objectives.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leading hand role.
  • Trade Certificate in Fitting and Machining.
  • Construction Industry White Card.
  • Current Police Clearance.
  • Current Driver's License.
Desirable Qualifications
  • High Risk LF, Dogging, WAH, EWP, MR Truck Licence.
  • Experience with QAQC Management and paperwork.
  • Familiarity with safe work systems, OHS, and mining standards.
