Join Our Team as a General Practitioner

Arafura Medical Clinics is seeking a skilled General Practitioner to provide high-quality medical services in the Northern Territory.

Our clinics are fully private billed and deliver professional, timely, and caring medical services to the community.

We offer a family-friendly environment, providing a high standard of healthcare to patients of all ages, including Health Care Card recipients, Pensioners, DVA, and children.

Our clinics are located in Humpty Doo, Oasis, and Zuccoli, offering a range of specialties and skills to patients.

As a General Practitioner with Arafura Medical Clinics, you will have the opportunity to work in a rural practice, providing emergency care and enjoying flexible work hours.

You will be part of a team that delivers best-practice primary health care, managing long-term conditions, and providing health promotion and preventative care.

Our clinics are fully equipped with modern facilities, including spacious consulting rooms and a pharmacy.

Our team is diverse, with a range of specialties and skills, and we offer additional remuneration for supervising and training IMGs and GP registrars.

As a General Practitioner with Arafura Medical Clinics, you will have the opportunity to work in a beautiful location with amazing destinations to explore.

What We Offer
  • Up to 70% of billings
  • Non-VR GPs 50% gross billings or minimum $100,000 per year
  • Additional remuneration for supervising/training of IMGs and GP registrars

  • Minimum experience of 3 years in general practice

NT PHN/RWA NT may be able to offer support and financial assistance to health professionals relocating to the NT or moving within the NT.
