About the Role: As a Director of Early Childhood Education, you will be responsible for leading and inspiring a team of 25 educators, engaging with educators, children, and parents, and nurturing positive relationships with the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Inspire a Team: Develop and implement strategies to motivate and engage the team, ensuring high-quality education and care for children.
  • Program Planning and Implementation: Independently plan and implement early childhood programs, ensuring alignment with the Centre's philosophy and goals.
  • Staff Development and Engagement: Proven experience in staff development, engagement, coaching, and mentoring, with a focus on building a positive and inclusive team culture.
  • Policy Management: Experience in writing and managing policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and the Centre's policies.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with educators, parents, and external stakeholders.
  • Time Management and Organization: Skilled in prioritizing and organizing a busy workload, ensuring timely completion of tasks and meeting outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Leadership Experience: At least 5 years in a leadership role within Early Childhood, including Centre Management or Nominated Supervisor experience.
  • Qualifications: ACECQA Approved Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred, Diploma qualification considered depending on experience).
  • Working with Children Check: Approved Working with Children Check as per NSW regulations and compliance (essential).
  • First Aid and Asthma/Anaphylaxis Certificates: Current Certificate in First Aid (including current annual CPR certificate) and Current Certificate in Asthma/Anaphylaxis.
  • Child Protection Course: Completion of an Approved Child Protection course.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Salary: $100k - $130k p.a. + Depending on Experience.
  • Supportive Team: Part-time Educational Lead, two administrative staff for rostering, timesheets, and management systems, and an external bookkeeper for financial tasks.
