We are seeking an experienced Biochemistry Scientist to supervise the Biochemistry team in our busy pathology laboratory. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the daily workflow of the laboratory to deliver a high-quality service that meets the clinical needs of our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Instrumentation: operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- QC/QAP: submission, review, and troubleshooting
- Quality system management: Non-conformance, document creation, and review
- Staff supervision and mentoring
- Staff training, assessment, and competency
To be successful in this role, you will need to have previous experience working in diagnostic Biochemistry in a NATA accredited lab, coupled with a strong focus on quality assurance. You will also need to have excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
