About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Technical Data Analyst to join our Data Platforms Crew. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders to build our world-class data platform, enabling data science, AI, and business insights across the entire group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design solutions for our data platforms, integrating data pipelines, architecture, and job orchestration to ingest, transform, and pass data to downstream systems.
  • Uplift platform capabilities to record metadata, track data lineage, and monitor job performance.
  • Elicit requirements from key stakeholders, including senior management, using facilitation and workshops to capture business requirements and translate into functional designs.
  • Provide support and participate in functional and non-functional testing.
Requirements
  • Confidence in navigating group data products and data assets, integrating large sets of data from internal and external sources.
  • Hands-on experience and expertise in data design, flows, data layers, and data semantics.
  • Analyse data profiles, data lineage, and data patterns in data risk mitigation strategies.
  • Gather requirements and provide input into solution design and data modelling decisions during data ingestion, enrichment, and egression processes.
  • Experience with SQL, Excel, Teradata Group Data Warehouse, Cloudera Hadoop Big Data, Datastage, ETL frameworks, messaging platforms like Kafka, Ab Initio framework, and cloud-based data warehousing.
