We are seeking a dynamic Occupational Therapist to join our team of professionals dedicated to delivering high-quality services to individuals with disability.
Job OverviewThis is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients.
You will be responsible for managing a varied caseload and delivering therapeutic services in line with client goals, assessing emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical function, developing evidence-based treatment goals and interventions tailored to each individual, recommending assistive technology and environmental modifications for increased independence, and supporting clients in home, school, work, and community settings.
Maintaining compliance with current legislation and best-practice standards is essential.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a caseload of Occupational Therapy services to meet client needs and goals
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client strengths and areas for development
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve client outcomes
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless service delivery
- Maintain accurate records and reports as required
- Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- A proactive and innovative mindset, with a genuine desire to make a difference
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a collaborative team environment
