About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Surveyor to join our team at CPB Contractors Pty Limited, supporting the delivery of the North East Link Central Package. As a Surveyor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and precision of survey data, working closely with construction and engineering teams to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with construction and engineering teams to ensure seamless collaboration and data exchange.
  • Provide clear, concise, and accurate survey setout, utilizing modern survey hardware and software systems.
  • Perform quality checks during construction to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Record accurate as-builts of work as executed, maintaining a high level of detail and precision.
  • Produce survey reports and plans, utilizing business intelligence tools to analyze and present data.
  • Maintain survey data, ensuring accuracy and integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure equipment is maintained and performing to a high standard, adhering to industry best practices.

Requirements

  • A diploma or degree in surveying/engineering, with a strong foundation in geospatial technologies.
  • 2+ years' experience in surveying, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Previous construction experience an advantage, but not essential.
  • Proficient with modern survey hardware and software systems, including geographic information systems (GIS) and computer-aided design (CAD) software.
  • Attention to detail and a desire to do it right, with a strong focus on quality and precision.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
