About the Opportunity: We are currently recruiting for a specialist role within a respected, multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering outstanding mental health care across regional Queensland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert psychiatric assessments and treatment plans for a varied caseload
  • Mentor and supervise junior medical staff and allied health professionals
  • Contribute to service development and continuous quality improvement initiatives
  • Support the education and training of future mental health clinicians

Department Overview: The Mental Health Division is a dynamic and evolving department, embedded within a major public health service. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, integrated mental health care across all age groups.

Our teams include Adult Community Mental Health, Child & Youth Mental Health Services, Older Persons Mental Health, Acute Inpatient Psychiatry, and Hospital in the Home. You'll be supported by a collaborative team that includes psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, social workers, and peer support specialists.
