We are seeking an experienced Carpentry Supervisor to lead and manage a carpentry and maintenance team.

Your New Role

As a Carpentry Supervisor, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating staff and onsite contractors to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Preparing detailed work estimates and providing expert technical advice to stakeholders.
  • Liaising with senior managers and supervisors to align goals and objectives.
  • Maintaining a safe working environment by enforcing strict safety procedures and protocols.
  • Conducting regular site inspections and organising repairs as needed to prevent disruptions.
  • Recruiting and training new staff members to enhance the team's overall performance.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A relevant Carpentry Trade Certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous supervisory experience and post-trade experience in a similar field.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills to motivate and direct team members.
  • A strong understanding of health and safety policies and processes to ensure a secure working environment.
