We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Payroll Officer to join our team at Thiess Group. As a key member of our payroll function, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the timely, accurate, and efficient processing of salaried, monthly paid payrolls.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with Award, EA, and legislative requirements
- Operate as a Super User in Oracle and Preceda systems to facilitate payroll operations
- Provide timely resolution of payroll-related queries from HR, line managers, and employees
- Understand and administer salaried employment contracts
- Create detailed process maps and work instructions for the salaried payroll function
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced payroll professional who can demonstrate a strong understanding of payroll legislation and procedures. You will have a proven track record of processing payroll and managing complex payroll issues, as well as experience in interpreting and applying provisions of Enterprise Agreements and Awards.
You will be a strong communicator with excellent verbal and written skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment. You will also have a high level of computer proficiency, including intermediate MS Excel skills.
