Job Title

QinetiQ's Australian business is seeking a skilled Trade Compliance professional to join their team.

  • This role involves providing trusted advice and guidance on trade compliance, ensuring best practices across trade compliance processes, export/import management, and strategic decision-making.
  • The successful candidate will support the transformation and integration of trade compliance processes, ensuring alignment with Group Trade Compliance Requirements.
  • They will build strong working relationships with key stakeholders across the Australian business, Group Trade Compliance, other sectors, suppliers, and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor trade compliance developments applicable to Australia and provide market intelligence to internal stakeholders.

Key qualifications include:

  • Proven experience in International Trade Compliance (ITC) practices and theory.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Australian and US export controls (Military and Dual Use).
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership skills and ability to progress to higher-level roles.
  • Experience in integration and transformation programs.
  • Demonstrated willingness to travel, both domestic and international.
  • Clearance Level: minimum Australian NV1 security clearance required.
