About the Role

This fixed-term position offers a minimum of 15 hours per week (minimum 20 hours in WA) with the opportunity to earn while you learn and work towards a career in childcare. You will have access to Affinity Learning Academy, which provides Cert III to Diploma and Leadership and Management courses, as well as additional pedagogy from Dr Lesley Jones and her Education Advisor Team.

Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with the Lead Educator/Educational Leader to deliver high-quality education and care to children.
  • Support the daily routine of the centre, including meal times and outdoor activities.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the centre.
Requirements
  • A current Working with Children check or the ability to obtain it.
  • Access to transport to and from the centre.
  • Willingness to commence in a Traineeship through the Affinity Learning Academy.
