About the Role

TasWater is seeking a skilled Capital Engagement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing and delivering community and stakeholder engagement for our $1.9 billion capital works program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective community engagement strategies to foster relationships and community involvement for diverse infrastructure projects.
  • Provide communications advice and support to internal stakeholders, maintaining knowledge of contemporary communication technologies and preferences.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of actions that drive customer centricity within TasWater, leading to positive outcomes for key stakeholders and community groups.
Requirements
  • Tertiary or vocational qualifications in Community Engagement, Communications, or a related discipline, or equivalent competence.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining strategic relationships and effectively communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment, with critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Previous project management experience.
