Job Title: Asset Strategist
We are seeking a highly skilled Asset Strategist to lead our team responsible for the long-term management and planning of infrastructure assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing an asset management framework that meets the requirements of seven asset classes.
This role involves coordinating the development of capital works programs, ensuring that assets meet scope and quality standards. You will also have significant input into the Long Term Financial Plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing asset management frameworks
- Coordinating capital works program development
- Providing expert advice on asset management
- Contributing to the Long Term Financial Plan
Essential Criteria:
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Asset Management, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience in all aspects of asset management
- Ability to provide expert advice on legislative, professional standards, and industry best practices
- Contemporary experience in strategic asset planning
- Experience sourcing and managing infrastructure grants
- Experience in stakeholder consultation and negotiation
Benefits:
This permanent full-time position offers 35 hours of work per week, with remuneration based on Grade 15 of the salary system. Additionally, you will receive superannuation, vehicle allowance, and civil liability allowance.
