We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Master Welding Operations Manager to oversee production and quality of welding projects, leading a team and ensuring safety and project specifications are met.

Job Overview

IIQAF is a dynamic organization that requires an exceptional leader to manage its welding operations. As our ideal candidate, you will have the opportunity to utilize your expertise in managing teams, inspecting and assessing welding work, and collaborating with project managers and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage a team of experienced welders, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality and safety standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and assessments of welding work to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain accurate schedules for welding operations, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Mentor and train new welders, helping them develop the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in their roles.
  • Troubleshoot any issues with welding equipment, ensuring downtime is minimized and productivity remains high.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers and clients to ensure all requirements are met and expectations are exceeded.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in welding, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding processes.
  • Thorough knowledge of welding codes and standards, including applicable regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards common goals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret blueprints and technical documentation.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest levels of quality and safety.
Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Additional benefits include health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
