Aeromedical Service Officer Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Aeromedical Service Officer to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe, reliable, and mission-critical aeromedical services to NSW and ACT Health.

This is a unique opportunity to play an integral role in our specialist helicopter business and contribute to the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Providing aeromedical transport services to patients in need;
  • Maintaining aircraft and equipment to ensure operational readiness;
  • Collaborating with medical teams to provide patient care and support;
  • Ensuring compliance with aviation regulations and standards;
  • Participating in training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge;
Requirements
  • Certificate IV in Aviation – Aircrew Officer (or equivalent);
  • Minimum 500 hours rotary wing flight experience as a Winch Operator / Aircrew Officer;
  • NVG Endorsement with minimum 50hrs ACO NVIS;
  • CASA Class 2 Aircrew Medical;
  • Comprehensive winching, night and IFR ACO FLHS experience;
  • Dangerous Goods Certificate;
  • Aviation Radio Operator License including Level 6 English Language Proficiency;
