Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Consultant Anaesthetist in the Gippsland region. Located in the heart of this thriving city, you will be working alongside three other anaesthetists and registrars, with a light on-call schedule.

You will also have access to state-of-the-art facilities, including a cardiac catheterisation laboratory, large Emergency Department, endoscopy suites and modern inpatient units.

Key Responsibilities

As a Consultant Anaesthetist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing high-quality patient care and treatment;
  • Working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional healthcare services;
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives and professional development programs;
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Be a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA) or have had your training assessed by ANZCA and been found substantially comparable;
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities;
  • Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning.
