About the Role

Catholic Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled RAC Funding Assessor to join our dynamic Aged Care Assessment Services team in Western Sydney.

As an RAC Funding Assessor, you will play a critical role in assessing the needs of older Australians and ensuring they receive the right care and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct residential aged care funding assessments using the AN-ACC assessment tool
  • Travel to various locations across metropolitan and regional areas
  • Assess new residents, respite care, reconsideration, and palliative care needs
Requirements
  • A tertiary qualification in a health-related discipline with relevant current and unrestricted AHPRA registration
  • Relevant experience delivering clinical services in an aged care setting
  • RAC Funding Assessor accreditation
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Aged Care Act, AN-ACC classification principles, and quality of care principles
About You
  • You have a kind heart and genuine passion for working with the elderly
  • You are technologically savvy and able to work autonomously in a geographically dispersed team
  • You have a current unrestricted Class C NSW/ACT driver's license and access to a reliable motor vehicle
We Offer
  • A competitive annual total remuneration package of $125,000.00 (full-time equivalent)
  • 7 additional leave days per year (pro-rata for part-time employees)
  • Mileage reimbursement at 88c/km in line with our travel policy
  • Pay less tax with Not For Profit Salary Packaging
