About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Heavy Plant Operator. As a key member of our Capital Delivery Team, you will be responsible for carrying out and completing skilled road construction and maintenance activities.

Some of your main responsibilities will include:

  • Working day-to-day on site with a construction crew.
  • Following directions from the site supervisor.
  • Operating heavy plant equipment, such as rollers, excavators, and backhoes, to licence requirements.
  • Carrying out various construction tasks, including road box outs, footpath replacements, pipe laying, and pavement placement.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

  • A current MR or HC Class Driver's Licence.
  • A General Safety Induction (Construction Industry) card.
  • A current Grader Ticket.
  • A current Road Roller Ticket.
  • A current Excavator Ticket.

We also require a pre-employment medical check, which may include a drug and alcohol test.
