Job Opportunity: We are seeking a Structural Engineer to join our team of innovative professionals.

 

The role involves scheming, designing and providing construction phase assistance for projects from start to finish for large and complex structures including education, commercial, community, sporting and boutique residential projects.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out calculations and structural analysis in accordance with guidelines, practice, Australian Standards, health and safety regulations and local authorities' regulations.
  • Managing design communication and professional relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
  • Working closely with engineers and drafters to provide high-quality structural design and documentation.
  • Project management.
  • Supporting clients and internal customers on technical queries.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
  • At least 5-7 years' experience in a Structural Engineer role within a consultancy environment.
  • Experience in scheming, designing and providing construction phase assistance for projects for complex structures.
  • The ability to produce complex calculations in all structural materials, i.e. steel, concrete, timber and masonry.
  • Sound knowledge of Australian Standard design codes and techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
