Unleash Your Expertise as a Casual Academic

We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic academics to join our team at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) Business School. As a casual academic, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on student learning and contribute to the development of our world-class curriculum.

Salary: AU$60 - AU$100 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience

About the Role

The School of Management and Governance is committed to delivering high-quality education that prepares students for success in their chosen careers. As a casual academic, you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of business leaders by teaching and mentoring students in various courses.

Key areas of expertise include Human Resource Management, Sustainability, Innovation, Strategy and Entrepreneurship, International Business, and Business Law and Governance. We welcome applications from candidates with professional experience and disciplinary expertise in these areas.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and instruction to students
  • Mark student assignments and provide feedback
  • Be available for student consultations and support
  • Develop online resources and materials (where applicable)

In addition to delivering classes, you will also be required to mark student assignments, be available for student consultations, and potentially support the development of online resources and academic support for lecturers.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a qualification at least one level higher than that held by the students enrolled in the course or qualification in which you are teaching. You must also be eligible to work in Australia and demonstrate expertise in the content for the courses you wish to teach.
