About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Island Conservation Specialist to join our team at SeaLink K'gari. As a Resort Eco-Ranger, you will be responsible for providing engaging and insightful guest experiences through our diverse range of immersive nature-based programs and activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpretive walks and presentations to groups of 20-30 people
  • Leading canoe paddles, Segway Tours, and Archery, with a good level of fitness required
  • Meet and greet guests on arrival at Kingfisher Bay Resort
  • Working with children in our Junior Eco Rangers and School group programs
  • Running school/conference group activities, including raft building, scavenger hunts, and hut building
  • Guest transfers and personalized tours via 4WD vehicle

Requirements:

  • Degree in Environmental Sciences, Animal Ecology, Marine Sciences, or Outdoor Education
  • First aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain within one month
  • Blue card - QLD working with children check or ability to obtain within one month
  • A valid QLD driver's license
  • Industry Authority (Drivers Authorisation) highly regarded or ability to obtain within three months
