About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our team in a permanent part-time capacity. As a Physiotherapist, you will work with clients in residential aged care and community settings, promoting health and wellbeing by enabling people to participate in everyday activities.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience, ideally in a community setting, and be comfortable working independently. You will also be a fully AHPRA registered Physiotherapist and have a patient-centred approach.

As a mobile Community Physio, you will travel to client's homes, so it is essential that you live in or near Newcastle and have your own vehicle. We provide KM reimbursement for this.

In this role, you will work on developing, implementing, and managing group and 1:1 exercise programs in residential aged care facilities. You will also support individuals with self-identified needs in private services, and focus on post-orthopaedic surgery in rehab in the home program. Additionally, you will work with Home Care Package clients to help them remain independent at home.
