We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Specialist/Senior Staff Specialist to join our Geriatric Medicine team at Rockhampton Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to aged and frail patients across various programs.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a commitment to Central Queensland Health values and deliver services that continually strive towards efficacy targets for safety, quality, clinical, and operational outcomes.
- Contribute to the full scope of geriatric services, including Acute, Subacute, Community, Outpatient, and Interim Care.
- Manage complex behavioral patients, provide consultation services across Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service, and participate in the Orthogeriatric service.
- Registration or eligibility for registration as a Specialist Physician – Geriatric Medicine with the Australian Health Practitioner Agency (AHPRA).
- Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Physicians (FRACP) in the specialty of Geriatric Medicine is required specialist qualification.
- Total remuneration value of up to $528,432 p.a., comprising an annual rate between $210,332 - $266,677 p.a., 12.75% employer superannuation contribution, and 17.5% leave loading.
