Employment Liability Specialist

We are seeking a 3-5 year experienced Employment Liability specialist to join our successful team in Sydney. This role offers part-time / hybrid working opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for managing complex workers compensation and work injury damages matters;
  • You will be the primary contact with regular involvement with clients;
  • You will represent the firm in various courts and tribunals, including the Personal Injury Commission; and
  • You will supervise and train junior lawyers.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • An academic qualification in law, with a current Practicing Certificate;
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in defendant litigation, preferably in workers compensation/work injury damages matters;
  • Excellent analytical, drafting and communication (verbal and written) skills, with superior attention to detail; and
  • Experience in policy wording review/drafting.

Salary: AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum.
