About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Yunex Traffic as a Civil Road Construction Specialist, where you will play a key role in the construction, maintenance, and inspection of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) assets and highways electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform construction and reconstruction of ITS assets, including Traffic Control Signals, Variable Message Signs, and Hazard Warning Signs.
  • Prepare equipment prior to final installation, such as Traffic Signal Controllers and vehicle detection systems.
  • Install or modify new and existing ITS assets, ensuring compliance with site specifications and industry standards.
  • Liaise with customers and other contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry advancements.

Requirements

  • Must have a valid driver's license and a strong understanding of industry OH&S requirements.
  • Hold a current First Aid certificate and be physically fit for manual handling tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to commute to the designated work location.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience with Traffic Signal Infrastructure or pit & pipe work.
  • Excavator experience and VOC certification.
  • Rigger & Dogmen VOC certification.
