Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records through journal entries, month-end accruals, ledger reconciliations, and financial data reviews.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage accounts payable processes including invoice coding, vendor master data, AP reconciliations, urgent/manual payments, and act as the Concur system owner.
  • Oversee banking and treasury activities such as bank guarantees, banking systems, and discrepancy resolution.
  • Reconcile intercompany charges, oversee cost allocations, process recharges, and own the CAPEX tracking and reporting.
  • Support compliance, audit, and tax processes with preparation of documentation and regulatory reporting.
  • Drive process improvements and maintain master data to enhance financial operations efficiency.
  • Maintain strong stakeholder relationships with banks, auditors, vendors, and internal teams while supporting ad hoc finance and operations tasks.
Requirements:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, paired with strong organisational skills.
  • Proven capability to prioritise and handle multiple responsibilities efficiently. Skilled in preparing clear reports and delivering engaging presentations.
  • Knowledgeable about governance frameworks, ensuring adherence to both internal policies and external regulations.
  • Self-motivated, highly organised, detail-focused, and methodical in approaching tasks and solving problems.
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Excel and other Office tools for data analysis and generating reports.
  • Familiarity with accounting and ERP systems such as SAP, Beacon (preferred), or similar platforms for financial operations and reporting.
  • Big 4 / Mid-Tier Chartered Accountant experience desirable.
