Job Summary

The role of Senior Health Economist involves leading economic evaluations that inform policy, access, and investment decisions.

You will work across a diverse range of disease areas and product types, including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, digital health, public health programs, and social interventions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Economic Analysis Expertise: Develop and adapt cost-effectiveness analyses (e.g., cost-utility analyses, Markov models, partitioned survival, decision trees).
  • Lead Development of Economic Evaluations: For HTA submissions to PBAC, MSAC, Pharmac, MDHTAC, and other agencies.
  • Broad Framework Applications: Apply economic methods to broader frameworks such as SROI and impact assessment.
  • Clear Communication: Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences through reports and presentations.
  • Project Delivery Oversight: Oversee end-to-end project delivery, ensuring quality, timeliness, and relevance.
  • Collaboration and Growth: Contribute to client relationships, business development, and proposal writing. Support internal capability-building and mentoring of junior staff.
