  • Lead and manage a high-performing team of criminal intelligence analysts, fostering a culture of excellence and driving capability development.
  • Develop and advise on strategies to leverage criminal intelligence, identifying emerging threats and informing ASIC's strategic and enforcement priorities.
  • Oversee the assessment of complex intelligence, identifying misconduct and informing regulatory decisions.
  • Drive innovative intelligence projects, leveraging data-driven technologies and methodologies to deliver high-quality assessments.
  • Deliver influential written and oral briefings on complex criminal intelligence matters, utilizing exceptional communication skills.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external agencies, advancing ASIC's regulatory and enforcement outcomes.
  • Exhibit strong leadership skills, driving team performance to deliver on ASIC's strategic priorities and business plan.

About You

  • Possess a relevant tertiary qualification and/or extensive professional intelligence experience.
  • Hold or be able to obtain a minimum national security clearance (Negative Vetting Level 1).
  • Demonstrate proven ability to lead intelligence teams, driving target development and insights that inform operational responses.
  • Exhibit expertise in the application of intelligence analysis and assessment in an operational regulatory, law enforcement, or national security environment.
  • Effectively present complex intelligence reports and briefings to senior-level audiences, both verbally and in writing.
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management, anticipating needs and expectations.
  • Experience working in multi-agency or multi-jurisdictional taskforces is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of serious financial crime is beneficial.
