Job Title

The asphalt sector in the Newcastle and Hunter regions is thriving. A leading Asphalt and Road Repairs company requires a well-established, dynamic civil construction professional to lead a team executing full-service civil construction and in-situ stabilisation works.

This position involves travel away from the Hunter area and requires a hands-on approach. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and building strong customer relationships.

Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in the civil construction industry
  • Experienced Leader in construction processes
  • Aptitude in quantity measurements and drawings
  • Capable of operating heavy plant
  • Capacity to follow instructions, work independently or as part of a team
  • Complete tasks efficiently and in a timely manner
  • Work to high safety and quality standards
  • Honest, reliable, responsible, and a desire to succeed
  • HR Truck Licence
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with In-Situ Stabilisation (i.e. Stabilising Machines and Spreader Trucks)
  • Mechanical background
  • Welding skills
