Social Content Creator

We are seeking a highly skilled Social Content Creator to join our team. The successful candidate will have a passion for sports, particularly AFL, and be able to create engaging content across multiple social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create innovative and attention-grabbing content that resonates with our target audience, including short-form videos, memes, and reactive social content.
  • Ideate and pitch content ideas across various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and X, ensuring consistency with our brand tone of voice.
  • Develop and execute plans to capitalize on major sporting moments, such as key AFL matches and viral sporting events.
  • Transform breaking news into bite-sized entertainment in real-time, showcasing creativity and quick thinking.
  • Write compelling one-liners, scripts, captions, and visual ideas that accurately reflect our brand voice.
  • Contribute fresh ideas and concepts to daily and weekly content meetings, driving innovation and growth.
  • Design and produce high-quality social content, including video memes, photoshops, short edits, and GIFs, using tools like Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, CapCut, and After Effects.
  • Utilize AI tools to generate seamless content that remains true to our brand identity.
  • Publish and schedule content, both reactive and planned, across our social accounts, requiring occasional weekend work during live games or major events.

This role requires adaptability and flexibility, as you may need to work weekends or evenings to cover live games or big events.
