Job Title: Venue Manager

We are seeking an exceptional leader to join our team as a Venue Manager. As the driving force behind our operations, you will be responsible for leading, inspiring, and empowering your team to deliver elevated service from the very first welcome to the final farewell.


Your primary focus will be on overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth service and high guest satisfaction. You will lead, train, and inspire the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional hospitality, while working closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team for seamless service flow.


You will also be responsible for managing rostering, budgets, ordering, and stock control, as well as implementing and maintaining venue standards, policies, and procedures. Furthermore, you will drive revenue growth through events, promotions, and upselling, while ensuring compliance with liquor licensing, health & safety regulations.


To succeed in this role, you will need a minimum of three years proven experience in managing premium or high-volume hospitality venues, along with strong operational, financial, and people management skills.

Exceptional knowledge of wines, spirits, cocktails, and emerging trends is highly regarded, and you will be able to create a workplace where staff feel empowered, connected, and inspired.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth service and high guest satisfaction
  • Lead, train, and inspire the FOH team to deliver exceptional hospitality
  • Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team for seamless service flow
  • Manage rostering, budgets, ordering, and stock control
  • Implement and maintain venue standards, policies, and procedures
  • Drive revenue growth through events, promotions, and upselling
  • Ensure compliance with liquor licensing, health & safety regulations

Qualifications:
  • Minimum three years proven experience in managing premium or high-volume hospitality venues

  • A passion for food, beverage, and creating memorable experiences
  • Exceptional knowledge of wines, spirits, cocktails, and emerging trends. WSET III or equivalent highly regarded
