About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Protection Specialist to join our team in Bunbury. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical infrastructure support to our client backup environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for client backup environments
  • Troubleshoot any issues that may arise
  • Design and implement data protection solutions for enterprise clients
  • Protect VMware, Hyper-V, Azure, AWS, and other virtualization platforms
  • Design and implement disaster recovery systems to ensure client uptime
  • Implement strategies to maintain client-defined retention policies

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

A minimum of two years of technical experience in a Network & Server Engineer role (MSP experience preferred)Experience supporting a corporate technology networkRelevant technical or tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience and skillsKnowledge of Hypervisor (VCloud/VMWare/Hyper-V) and Windows Server operating systemsStrong technical experience in Business continuity and disaster recovery (Shadow Protect, Veeam)Strong technical proficiency implementing, supporting, and troubleshooting Microsoft operating environmentsA high level of service and attention to detailExpert problem-solving and time management skillsAbility to participate in an on-call roster for after-hours support
