Primary Learning LeaderThe Primary Learning Leader plays a crucial role in enhancing teacher capacity and effectiveness. This involves modeling high-quality teaching and learning, mentoring and coaching teachers to improve educational outcomes for students and driving continuous school improvement.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate curriculum implementation to promote effective teaching and improved achievement in all curriculum areas
- Enhance teacher capacity and effectiveness through mentoring and coaching
- Monitor and analyse student achievement data to inform teaching and curriculum decision-making
- Promote explicit, planned teaching of literacy in the early years to support students' development and engagement in numeracy and other curriculum areas
About You
- A minimum of 5 years teaching experience with strong knowledge and experience in implementing the Australian Curriculum
- Capacity to develop interpersonal relationships, establish productive partnerships, and work as part of a team to lead change
- Ability to promote consistent application of the Achievement Standards in evaluating student achievement
- Skills in providing teachers with feedback on classroom pedagogy and planning
