Our company is looking for a skilled and motivated tyre fitter to join our team.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced tyre fitter who will assist in planning and directing the day-to-day operation and sales of our large retail & commercial tyre store. You will be responsible for workshop based tyre fitting, repairs, wheel alignments and service fitting as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Workshop based tyre fitting, repairs, wheel alignments and service fitting as required.
  • Assist with coordination and allocation of work and the tyre fitting team.
  • In conjunction with the Branch Manager, develop and implement strategies to improve customer service, drive store sales and increase profitability.

You will also provide technical support and supervision to the team. This role requires strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills, as well as the ability to lead by example and motivate the team to create a harmonious and positive workplace.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a Tyre/Automotive sales role and possess extensive and up to date knowledge of product and services sold in a retail & commercial tyre store. A strong focus on physical safety, risk/liability mitigation and workplace health and safety compliance is essential.

Requirements

  • Experience in a Tyre/Automotive sales role (desirable)

  • Problem Solving and Conflict Resolution: able to de-escalate and resolve customer or staff issues in a timely manner ensuring best outcomes
  • Operational Excellence: takes pride in team and personal achievements and shows initiative through continuous improvement

A Motivated attitude, Professional Attitude and Safety Consciousness are also essential for this role.
