Job Title: Cloud DevOps Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Cloud DevOps Specialist to join our team. As a Cloud DevOps Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based systems and infrastructure.

About the Job:

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of cloud platforms, containerization, and automation tools. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud-based infrastructure using Terraform and other automation tools.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Tekton, or other tooling.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment and integration of applications.
  • Implement security policies and access controls using Hashicorp Vault.
  • Work with APIGEEX, ISTIO ServiceMesh, Confluent Kafka Setup, and Deployments.
  • Experience working with AWS, Azure, Private, On-Premises, & Multi-cloud architectures.
  • Delivering services or features via an agile DevOps approach, including information security for the cloud (firewalls).
  • Encouraging and championing good practices in coding and automation processes.
  • Good communication skills and thought leadership on cloud platforms, automation, coding patterns, and components.

Requirements:

  1. At least 3+ years of experience in developing, configuring, and maintaining Red Hat OpenShift Kubernetes Container Platform in lower environments and production.
  2. Extensive knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and DevOps concepts, tools, and languages.
  3. Experience with Automation and CI/CD tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, Tekton, or Bamboo pipelines with Kubernetes containers.
  4. Strong understanding of various security policies like BasicAuth, OAuth, WSSE token, etc.
  5. Strong understanding of creating environments, namespaces, virtual hosts, API proxies, and cache.
  6. Strong understanding of configuring security policies for APIs using Hashicorp Vault.
  7. Experience working with APIGEEX, ISTIO ServiceMesh, Confluent Kafka Setup, and Deployments.
  8. Experience working with AWS, Azure, Private, On-Premises, & Multi-cloud architectures.
  9. Experience in developing, managing, and supporting automation tools, processes, and runbooks.
