Financial Investment Advisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Financial Investment Advisor to join our team in Sydney.

This role is ideal for an experienced financial professional who thrives in a dynamic, client-centric environment.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide High-Quality Financial Advice
    • Offer expert advice to retail and wholesale clients across various investment products.
  • Conduct Client Discovery Meetings
    • Meet with clients to assess their financial objectives, risk tolerance, and investment preferences.
  • Prepare and Present Statements of Advice
    • Develop and present tailored investment proposals to clients.
  • Build Long-Term Client Relationships
    • Establish and maintain long-term relationships with clients through regular portfolio reviews and performance reporting.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Market Trends
    • Monitor market trends and regulatory changes to ensure best-practice advice and strategy.
  • Collaborate with Internal Departments
    • Work closely with internal departments to ensure compliance and strategic alignment.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Higher
    • A degree in Finance, Economics, Insurance, or a related discipline is required.
  • Experience and Qualifications
    • At least 3 years' experience advising retail and/or wholesale clients on multi-asset portfolios is necessary.
    • ASIC RG 146 accreditation with demonstrated application in practice is also required.
  • Key Skills and Knowledge
    • A strong understanding of international financial markets, investment products, and portfolio management principles is essential.
    • Proven ability to build client relationships and maintain high ethical standards is also crucial.
