Job Description

We are seeking compassionate and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Personal Carers.

You will be caring for clients in their own homes around Kallangur to Caboolture and the surrounding areas, so you'll need a driver's license and reliable car with comprehensive insurance.

This is a casual position that will initially cover for some of our valued carers taking a break and filling in for visits that arise, sometimes on a daily basis. We envision this will turn into ongoing shifts as we carefully match our carers and clients.

We provide personal care, domestic support, companionship and social support, post-operative care, dementia care and disability support.

About the Role

  • Domestic assistance - vacuuming, mopping, laundry, ironing, cleaning bathrooms, light gardening, changing beds
  • Meal preparation
  • Transport clients to appointments, shopping or other social activities
  • Develop a plan along with the client to improve their lives and follow it daily
  • Observe, care and report any changes in the health and wellbeing of the client
  • Responding to emergency situations

Requirements

  • Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent - Required
  • Working Rights in Australia
  • Australian Criminal History Check
  • NDIS Workers Screening Card (paid)
  • Blue Card (paid)
  • Drivers licence & reliable car with comprehensive insurance
  • First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
