The Role
The Contracts and Procurement Lead is accountable for implementing, reviewing, and providing guidance and support relating to contracts and procurement functions. This role delivers exceptional internal customer service, balancing cost savings with quality and reliable procurement decisions.
Your Responsibilities
You will lead and manage a small workgroup and bring:
- Proven experience in procurement and contracts management, including leadership roles.
- Understanding of Victorian Government Purchasing Board policies.
- Experience in the management and improvement of contract processes and frameworks.
- Well-developed skills in probity or compliance assessment processes and managing contract management risk.
- Experience in leading, motivating, and developing a team.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate and influence stakeholders.
- High-level analytical and problem-solving skills.
