Berry Street's Western Family Violence Service provides screening, assessment, triage and response functions to incoming referrals for women and children.

This role requires direction and support to make thorough and in-depth risk assessments for women and children.

About You

To be successful, you will hold a minimum Bachelor level qualification in Social Work or recent employment in the family violence sector. You will also have experience in a leadership role, including providing supervision to staff.

Key qualities include the ability to reflect on complex situations, adapt to change, and commit to working collaboratively with partners and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities and a commitment to delivering high-quality services.

You will be responsible for supervising a team of highly skilled family violence and child wellbeing workers, as well as supporting staff from other agencies.
