Job Title: Environmental Services Assistant

Are you a team player seeking a career in healthcare? Hunter Valley Private Hospital is looking to employ Environmental Services Assistants to join our supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver excellent customer service to staff, clients, and patients
  • Deliver, serve, and collect all patient food requirements and meal trays
  • Assist in daily food preparation and basic meal assembly
  • Clean and maintain utensils and kitchen equipment in accordance with hospital and industry food safety and hygiene standards
  • Provide high standards of cleaning services
  • Operate in line with infection control standards and WHS policy and procedures

Requirements:

  • Experience in hospital/hotel cleaning
  • Time management skills
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Works well independently and within a team
  • Current Food Processing Certificate Level 1 (working towards or willing to attain)
  • Prior experience in healthcare food services
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
  • Demonstrated ability to work without supervision as well as a part of a team
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Flexible to work a variety of shifts - early/late shifts and weekend work
