Job Description

We are seeking an accomplished General Surgeon to provide high-quality medical assessment and management of patients within the general surgery service in the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District.

The General Surgeon will be responsible for delivering specialist general surgery services to emergency patients, inpatients, and outpatients, ensuring the provision of expert care to all patients within the region.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Support the development of general surgery services
  • Facilitate a culture of learning and best practice
  • Develop general surgery research within the department

Advanced Trainees expected to receive Fellowship with RACS within 6 months may be considered for this role.
